Reaching the Community One Person at a Time.

Caring for the less fortunate in our community is a cornerstone of living a life filled with love and faith. Guided by biblical teachings, this responsibility strengthens our bonds with one another and reflects God's heart*. Scripture consistently calls us to extend compassion, generosity, and care to those in need.

*Zechariah 7:9-10“This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’”

  • Helping the Widows

James 1:27: "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

True worship and a heartfelt faith in God shine through our actions, especially in our acts of kindness and compassion. This highlights our duty to care for the most vulnerable among us, such as widows and orphans, who endure significant challenges. By extending love and support to these individuals, we embody the true essence of our faith and our commitment to God's teachings.

  • Providing for the Poor

Proverbs 19:17: "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done."

Luke 6:38: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."

Donating generously to those who are in need not only provides them with much-needed support but also serves as a testament to our faith and reverence for God. This act of kindness not only uplifts the lives of others but also deepens our own spiritual journeys, allowing us to experience fulfillment and a sense of purpose.

  • Strengthening the Community

Galatians 6:2: "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Acts 20:35: "In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"

When we come together to support and uplift one another, we create a vibrant community brimming with love, trust, and a deep sense of shared responsibility. Through our united efforts, we cultivate an environment that reflects the core teachings of Christ, tying us together in faith and purpose.
